About the Job

As a Human Resources Business Partner for our team, you will manage and execute work to support Cura HR employees related to the entire employee lifecycle; from talent acquisition to talent management, and for all people programs and HR operations. In this role you will be responsible for all HR-related duties for Cura in the following functional areas: total rewards, employee relations, performance management, on-boarding and off-boarding, recognition, payroll management, policy development and implementation, employment law compliance and HR program and project development and execution. What you will do

  • Partner with the Cura leadership team to develop and facilitate programs related to the Cura team’s talent and performance, onboarding and induction, and all other people-related programs.
  • Manage state and federally compliant HR operations, practices, and procedures.
  • Partner with employees and people managers to communicate various human resource policies and practices.
  • Field and resolve general HR-related questions.
  • Oversee and support payroll, HR administrative and operations processes.
  • Manage total rewards programs (Health Reimbursement Account, 401(k), leave, compensation, etc.) and respond to employee inquiries regarding these programs.
  • Partner with leadership to support employee relations issues, perform investigations, make recommendations, and track outcomes.
  • Provide guidance to leadership regarding performance improvement and corrective action situations.
  • Manage and facilitate Cura’s talent acquisition process.
  • Refine and execute Cura’s onboarding and induction program and facilitate the process with new hires and people managers.
  • Oversee and facilitate Cura’s performance management and talent review process including timeline, communications and follow up.
  • Manage Cura’s Recognition, Anniversary & Wellness programming and gifting.
  • Partner with leadership regarding employee engagement and team building initiatives.
  • Track team’s professional development plans, and ensure budgets are managed and used.
  • Develop and oversee the DEIA (culture) Calendar on an ongoing basis.
  • Assist in planning and facilitating team’s quarterly Knowledge Share events.
  • Define and manage bodies of HR work leveraging third-party resources, including Cura’s accounting firm, event planner, and work study students.

What you will need

  • A bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in HR, as a generalist and business partner.
  • Proven ability to prioritize needs and provide a high-level of customer service to team members.
  • Desire for continuous learning and development; engagement and participation in Cura Knowledge Share professional development meetings/events.
  • Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.

Total Rewards Package

  • Compensation$42.00 to $50.00/hour base pay ($87,360 – $104,000 based on a 40 hour work week) and eligibility for an $8,000 annual discretionary performance bonus.
  • Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) – An employer–funded, tax advantaged health benefit used to reimburse employees for out-of-pocket medical expenses and personal health insurance premiums. New hires are eligible the 1st of the month following date of hire, assuming their planned work schedule is at least 28 hours per week. Eligibility is reevaluated quarterly using a six-month look-back period. Individuals are funded $488/month, whereas families are funded $900/month.
  • 401(k) retirement plan Employee contributions are matched 100% on the first 3% of eligible pay.
  • Time Off Programs – Cura employees receive nine (9) paid holidays annually and Paid Time Off (PTO).
    • PTO – accruals based on hours worked. The full-time accrual rates are equivalent to 15 days (120 hours). Accrual increases at 2 years of service to 20 days (160 hours) for full-time employees.
  • Professional Development Budget – this position may be reimbursed for approved continuing education and development up to $2,000 annually.
  • Knowledge Sharing – participate virtually, and in person for team events, cross- training, case studies, train-the-trainers, and problem-solving sessions. 
  • Working remotely – collaborative team environment, mostly virtual, some in-person!
