About the Job

As a Human Resources Consulting Manager, you will support clients and partner with other Cura Consultants to meet the needs of the client engagement. Engagements are focused on programs and projects within varying disciplines and may include all aspects of HR operations. In this role you will facilitate and lead all HR-related duties for Cura’s clients in the following functional areas: total rewards administration, employee relations, performance management, on-boarding and off-boarding, payroll, policy development and implementation, employment law compliance and HR program and project development and execution.

What you will do

  • Develop, manage, and track progress for multiple client plans, in-line with Cura’s Client
  • Management Practices, tools, and technology.
  • Lead and support workflow and development for HR Consultants and Associates.
  • Consult with leaders to develop and facilitate programs related to talent and performance, onboarding and induction, and all other people-related programs.
  • Assess and manage for state and federally compliant HR operations, practices and procedures.
  • Partner with employees and leaders to communicate various human resource policies and practices.
  • Field and resolve general HR-related questions.
  • Oversee and support payroll and HR administrative and operations processes.
  • Manage total rewards programs (benefits, leave, compensation, etc.) and respond to employee inquiries regarding these programs.
  • Partner with leadership to support employee relations issues, perform investigations, make recommendations, and track outcomes.
  • Provide guidance to clients regarding performance improvement and corrective actions situations.
  • Develop and facilitate training programs.

What you will need

  • A bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in HR operations and varying functional project work.
  • Experience working in HR for organizations of varying size, complexity, ownership structure and/or industry.
  • Proven ability to prioritize needs and provide a high-level of customer service to team members and clients.
  • Desire for continuous learning and development; engagement and participation in Cura Knowledge Share professional development meetings/events.
  • Ability to travel to client sites as needed and to Denver/Boulder metro area for occasional in- person Cura team meetings.
  • Ability to travel for periods of time.
  • Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.

Total Rewards Package

  • Compensation $42.00 to $53.00/hour base pay ($87,360 – $110,240 based on a 40 hour work week) with on-target commission of an additional $20,000 annually.
  • Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) – An employer–funded, tax advantaged health benefit used to reimburse employees for out-of-pocket medical expenses and personal health insurance premiums. New hires are eligible the 1st of the month following date of hire, assuming their planned work schedule is at least 28 hours per week. Eligibility is reevaluated quarterly using a six-month look-back period. Individuals are funded $454.16/month, whereas families are funded $800/month.
  • 401(k) retirement plan Employee contributions are matched 100% on the first 3% of eligible pay.
  • Time Off Programs – Cura employees receive eight (8) paid holidays annually, Paid Time Off (PTO), and Volunteer Time Off (VTO)
    • PTO – accruals based on hours worked. Full-time new hires are eligible to earn an equivalent of 15 days (120 hours). Accrual increases at 2 years of service to 20 days (160 hours) for full-time employees.
    • VTO to enable equity through access, Cura incentives our consultants to provide HR services either to underrepresented minority organizations, or those organizations supporting underrepresented minority groups. Cura employees may receive pay for up to eight (8) hours of VTO a year, an average of two (2) hours per quarter.
    • Professional Development Budget – Consultants are reimbursed for approved development up to $2,000 annually.
    • Knowledge Sharing – participate virtually, and in person for team events, cross- training, case studies, train-the-trainers, and problem-solving sessions.
    • Working remotely – collaborative team environment, mostly virtual, and flexible!
