About the Job
As a Human Resources Consultant, you'll collaborate with clients and fellow Cura Consultants to deliver exceptional HR programs and projects. You’ll navigate various HR disciplines, contributing to areas such as:
- Total rewards administration
- Payroll administration
- Performance management
- Onboarding and offboarding
- Policy development and compliance
- HR operations and project execution
Location:
Remote (US only). Ability to travel for Knowledge share events and occasionally for client needs.

What you will do
- Manage against HR operational plans across multiple client engagements.
- Design and implement people programs and practices.
- Point of contact for end-to-end payroll process, administer HRIS, and manage unemployment and workers' compensation claims.
- Build process guides to assist with on-going HR management.
- Administer total rewards programs, including compensation, benefits, leaves, and open enrollment.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal HR laws including labor law poster updates, state final payroll requirements, and required reporting per company size and industry.
- Maintain accurate and compliant employee record keeping and assist with reporting and audits.
- Facilitate and assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including orientations, exit interviews, and termination deliverables.
- Address and resolve general HR-related inquiries.
- Assist with recruiting needs: Develop recruiting strategies, create job descriptions and screen candidates for hiring managers.
- Partner with leadership to assist with employee relations, investigations, and resolutions.
- Track time accurately for client deliverables using Cura's tools and best practices.

- Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple priorities with accuracy and compliant results in fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Word, Excel, PPT, etc.), HRIS and payroll platforms with ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in HR operations.
- Experience across organizations of varying size, complexity, and industry.
- Commitment to continuous learning and development.
- Availability for occasional travel to client sites and in-person team meetings in the Denver/Boulder metro area.
- Proof of U.S. work eligibility.
What Sets You Apart
- HRCI or SHRM-CP certification.
- Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred.
Total Rewards Package
- Compensation: $35.00 - $38.00/hour ($72,800.00 - $79,040.00 annually based on 40-hour workweek) + on-target commission of $12,000 annually.
