As an Associate Consultant, you will support clients and partner with other Cura Consultants to meet the needs of the client engagement. Engagements are focused on programs and projects within varying disciplines and may include all aspects of HR operations. In this role you will carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: total rewards administration, employee relations, performance management, on-boarding and off-boarding, payroll, policy development and implementation, employment law compliance and HR program and project execution.

• Support HR operations plans for multiple clients.
• Participate in the design and development of people programs and practices.
• Facilitate state and federally compliant HR operations, practices, and procedures.
• Maintain accurate employee records such as new hires, promotions, performance reviews, terminations, and employee statistics for government and business reporting.
• Facilitate the new hire on-boarding process, including conducting orientation and induction processes as applicable.
• Facilitate off-boarding process including participating in termination conversations, conducting exit interviews, preparing separation communications, etc.
• Field and resolve general HR-related questions.
• Process payroll and HR administrative duties such as unemployment and worker’s compensation claims.
• Administer total rewards programs (benefits, leave, compensation, etc.) and respond to employee inquiries regarding these programs.
• Partner with leadership to support employee relations issues, perform investigations, make recommendations, and track outcomes.
• Provide guidance to clients regarding performance improvement and corrective action situations.
• Track and manage progress against client priorities, in-line with Cura’s Client Management Practices, tools, and technology.
• Ability to take existing knowledge and experiences to recommend effective client solutions.

• A bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience preferably within human resources focused on HR operations.
• Proven ability to prioritize needs and provide a high-level of customer service to team members and clients.

• Ability to travel to client sites as needed and to Denver/Boulder metro area for occasional in person Cura team meetings.
• Ability to travel for periods of time.
• Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
• HRCI and/or SHRM HR certification credentials.

• Compensation - $28.00 to $32.00/hour base pay ($58,240 - $66,560 based on a 40-hour work week) with on-target commission of an additional $7,000 annually.
• Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) – An employer–funded, tax advantaged health benefit used to reimburse employees for out-of-pocket medical expenses and personal health insurance premiums. New hires are eligible the 1st of the month following date of hire, assuming their planned work schedule is at least 28 hours per week. Eligibility is reevaluated quarterly using a six-month look-back period. Individuals are funded $513/month, whereas families are funded $1038/month.
• 401(k) retirement plan – Employee contributions are matched 100% on the first 3% of eligible pay.
• Time Off Programs - Cura employees receive nine (9) paid holidays annually and Paid Time Off (PTO).
o PTO – accruals based on hours worked. Full-time new hires are eligible to earn an equivalent of 15 days (120 hours). Accrual increases at 2 years of service to 20 days (160 hours) for full-time employees.
• Health and Wellness Program – ClassPass; an app offering access to wellness and fitness resources.
• Professional Development Budget – Consultants are reimbursed for approved development up to $2,000 annually.
